While I’m a pattern-lover and am heavy-handed with saturated color, I’ll meet you anywhere you want to go - where the Old Guard meets the avant garde, where east meets west, where the sacred meets the profane, the precious, the grotesque (have you ever noticed how even really ‘ugly’ things have their own sense of beauty?). My experience, creative intuition, and education have taught me that perfect imperfection that can’t be copied - and it’s a weighty, tricky thing that should be eeked out between client and designer.

Because I don’t work hourly without a full-service retainer, I offer smaller-scale services for clients who aren’t ready for a full-scale renovation.
Have you already worked with a designer, or are you a first-timer? Either way, I believe that transparency and trust yield the BEST relationships and the best relationships yield the most lasting, classic, and fresh designs. Some people like to start slow - and if you’re not ready for a huge commitment like full-scope design services yet, don’t fret!
Some of my best client relationships have started small: by redecorating their daughter’s room for a birthday or helping them incrementally with their home as their budget allows.
This package is great for renovating a single room at a time, for budgets between $10,000-$50,000. You’d be surprised how quickly and easily that money can stretch when I’m procuring custom orders for you.
My INTRO DESIGN Package includes:
Ten hours of my time, spread out over the course of no more than three weeks;
My trade access and pricing;
One initial design consultation or walk-through;
One design presentation with two design concepts;
Ordering and logistics assistance for your self-driven design implementation.
FULL SERVICE AND SCOPE DESIGN PROJECTS - $10,000 RETAINER
My full scope redesign projects are for people who are ready to pull the trigger - who have hemmed and hawed about their home for years and are ready to go full steam ahead. Client budgets for these projects are over $50,000 - but a good rule of thumb is that your interiors budget should be between 33-50% of your home’s value. This service includes:
SCHEMATIC/STRATEGIC PHASE - This is the Goals and Budget phase. The best designs come from trust. Central to that is an agreement (it’s spelled out in my hefty, attorney-written, codified, insured contract!) between us that I will abide by the project with your financial best interest in mind. In this initial phase, I’ll tour your home several times and conduct field measures to get to know you and the way you live. I’ll look for common design mistakes made by builders and poorly-trained trades as well as search for areas of improvement that will enhance your daily life throughout all seasons. If necessary, I can conduct feasibility studies and have my architect submit plans for permits and codes. During this phase, the budget and timeline are solidified as well as the scope of our work.
CONCEPTUAL DEVELOPMENT - This is the space-planning phase. I’ll start sketching and drafting for you to be able to imagine the impending changes. The capstone of this phase is our floorplan development and elevations, detail drawings, etc. When we’ve agreed on the general footprint of your plans, we can start customizing dimensions, materials, and fun details.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT - Materials, materials, materials galore! This is my absolute favorite part of the process. I often hand my clients (or throw at them!) materials in the earlier phases to jump-start the most important aspect of our work together: how it will feel. Tactile, lush, textured, smooth. Mixing glass, wood, fabric, and other elements to create perfect harmony. I’m committed to rounding out your space, integrating your interiors with the contextual architecture and built environment, and blurring the lines between what will be the plush comfort of your interiors and the grand perfection of your home’s natural environment. I don’t like to rely on the quick-study design props or tricks you might see on Instagram or design blogs because I want the space to be yours, not the facsimile of something we both saw somewhere. Your finished product will have soul - and it will be yours.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION - Here, we’ll add details for electricians, plumbers, millworkers, or any other craftsperson to save time and money on any mistakes that might pop up.
ADMINISTRATION & INSTALLATION - Throughout this process, we handle all shipping, storage, receiving, and repairs for you until it is time for install. At that time, I’ll have your home furnished, polished, and styled down to the last detail for your enjoyment and optimal lifestyle.
